Getting Here

When arriving in the community near Shaw Air Force Base, the nearest major airport is the Columbia Metropolitan Airport which is located about 6 miles from the base. Taxi service is available at the airport. If arriving by car from Augusta, take I-20 East and at Columbia, take I-26 South toward the city. Continue on I-77 South and then turn East onto Highway 76/378. Continue on 378 until Shaw Air Force Base comes up on your left. The main gate will be located on your right just a little further ahead. If military personnel need temporary lodging, contact the Carolina Pines.
